Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026,to Question 20826o n Propriety and Constitution Group: Recruitment, how many applications were made for the permanent role from (a) inside and (b) outside the Civil Service; and how many were shortlisted for interview.

17 applications were made in total, of which eight were from inside the Civil Service and nine were from outside the Civil Service. A total of three applicants were shortlisted for interview.
