The National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) provides protective security guidance to organisations, employees, leaders and executives across the United Kingdom, including those in the technology sector.

This includes advice on protecting sensitive assets and intellectual property, managing personnel and supply-chain risks, maintaining effective security awareness among employees, supporting staff in higher-risk roles, and managing the risks associated with international travel and expansion.

Additional guidance regarding protective security is available via the ProtectUK platform. NPSA and Counter Terrorism Policing work closely with the Home Office to regularly review and update the advice, materials and resources available in line with the current threat assessment.
