Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of banning claims management companies under his proposals to increase the small claims limit in personal injury cases to £5,000.

The government will consult on the detail of the new reforms in due course, including any safeguards. The consultation will be accompanied by an impact assessment.
