Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, with reference to the Electoral Commission’s report on the 2026 England mayoral and local government election published on 14 September 2026, which recommendations the her Department intends to implement.

The Government will publish its response to the recommendations raised in the Electoral Commission's report on the 2026 England Mayoral and local government elections in the coming months.
