Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, how much security guards in his Department are paid.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) contracts out the guarding of its UK estate to Servest, under the terms of the Crown Commercial Services framework. Servest are responsible for setting the rates of pay for their staff and have informed the FCO that the current minimum rate for Security Officers is £8.69 and the maximum rate is £15.92 per hour.
