Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, when Highways England plans to publish its cycling design standards.
This question was answered on 14th March 2016
Highways England is currently updating the relevant sections of their Design Standards so that the needs of cyclists are accommodated in all future improvement schemes. They will publish an Interim Advice Note (IAN) on designing for cycle traffic by autumn 2016.
