The number of households receiving the Universal Credit (UC) Housing Element or Housing Benefit, who are subject to the Local Housing Allowance (LHA), is available on Stat-Xplore (https://stat-xplore.dwp.gov.uk/). ‘Households on Universal Credit’ and ‘Housing Benefit – Data from April 2018’ would be the datasets of interest, and filters can be applied to show information for Wales and households with children only.

Users can log in or access Stat-Xplore as a guest, and if needed, can access guidance on how to extract the information required.
