Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will make an assessment of the potential effect of a reduction in the level of excise duty for wine on the Welsh wine industry.

All taxes are kept under review and the impact of a change to wine and spirits duty is considered at each fiscal event, including their effect on specific industries and the wider economy.
