The United Kingdom is committed to promoting and defending the human rights of all individuals. We have discussed issues affecting indigenous people with the Brazilian authorities and have regular contact with the Brazilian National Foundation for Indigenous People (FUNAI), which is responsible for protecting indigenous people in Brazil.
