Question to the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero:

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, whether his Department has assessed the recommendations of the Independent Greenhouse Gas Removal Review, published on 23 October 2025; and what is his timeline for responding to that report's recommendations.

On 23 October 2025 the GGR Independent Review was published, setting out a range of recommendations to government. The government welcomes this report and will consider the recommendations and respond in due course.
