The UK Government has provided £9.3 million for mine action in Angola since 2018. By March 2021, this funding had cleared and confirmed safe over 26.6 million square metres of land, the equivalent of 3,700 football pitches, and delivered risk education to 86,700 people. We do not hold data on the proportion of funding used for work around Cuito Cuanavale.
