Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, if he will bring forward legislative proposals to specify that the next elections of police and crime commissioners are conducted under the first-past-the-post system.

The Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 requires Police and Crime Commissioner elections to use the Supplementary Vote System. As with all electoral processes, this will be kept under review.
