Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what estimate he has made of the saving to the public purse resulting from care provided to disabled people by unpaid carers.
This question was answered on 7th July 2021
We have made no such assessment. We recognise the vital role all carers play, particularly during the pandemic.
