Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, whether he has made an assessment of the effect on tenants of capping housing allowance rate rises at one per cent per year.

The Department has not made such an assessment since this measure was introduced, however an equality analysis was carried out during the policy development phase. The analysis was published in December 2013 on Gov.uk.
