Streptococcus: Clinical Trials

Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, whether the National Institute for Health Research is on schedule to report the results of clinical trials on universal screening for Group B Strep during pregnancy in 2023.
This question was answered on 5th July 2021
The trial was paused last year due to the pandemic and it is now expected that the results will be in the public domain in early 2025.
