Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what the staff turnover rate was in each Ambulance Service throughout England in each year since 2010-11.

NHS Digital publishes Hospital and Community Health Services workforce statistics. These include staff working in hospital trusts and clinical commissioning groups, but not staff working in primary care, local authorities or other providers.

The attached table shows the number of joiners and leavers for each Ambulance trust in England for each of the years specified as at 30 September and 31 December, the latest data available, in the last year, headcount.

The Stability Index is the percentage of staff there at the start of the period that do not leave the specified group (in this case the specific ambulance trust) during the period in question.
