The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised against all travel to Syria since 2012 because of the dangers associated with the conflict there. It remains the case that the UK has no consular presence within Syria from which to provide assistance, whether to children or adults. Outside of Syria, we would of course respond to requests for consular assistance to British children, including facilitating their return as appropriate.
