The DCMS does not have any plans to commemorate the tercentenary of the Battle of Preston.

However, Government does recognise the importance of events like the Battle of Preston, and through the Heritage Lottery Fund, have made £10m available for projects marking some of the UK’s most important anniversaries and commemorative events.

Details on how to apply to this contestable fund can be found here - http://www.hlf.org.uk/about-us/news-features/funding-anniversaries
