Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 2 February 2014 to Question 222307, when his Department next plans to meet the manufacturers of the MenB vaccine; and by what date he expects negotiations with those manufacturers to be concluded.

The Department met with the manufacturer of the meningococcal B vaccine, Bexsero^® on 30 January 2015 and will be meeting again shortly. The negotiations for the supply of Bexsero^® at a cost-effective price will be completed as soon as possible.
