Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the National Referral Mechanism Review, published in November 2014, if she will publish the terms of reference of the proposed National Referral Mechanism Pilots.

The Government has accepted, in principle, all the recommendations set out in the National Referral Mechanism review report. Pilots will be established to test the core recommendations to ensure that our approach to identifying and supporting victims of modern slavery is robust and fit for purpose. Details of the pilots, including the terms of reference, will be published in due course.
