Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what guidance he has issued on what level at which the new marginal tariff payments proposed by NHS England for specialised services activity above a certain level should be set.
This question was answered on 12th January 2015
Such guidance has not been issued. On 26 November 2014 NHS England and Monitor published their proposals for the 2015/16 National Tariff Payment System for consultation. The consultation closed on 24 December and Monitor and NHS England are now reviewing the consultation responses.
