Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent estimate he has made of the total commercial value of licensed but undeployed radio spectrum designated for 4G services in (a) Wales and (b) the UK.
This question was answered on 19th February 2019
Spectrum for 4G mobile services is licensed by Ofcom and paid for by Mobile Network Operators on a national basis, and decisions on deploying 4G services remain a commercial matter for Mobile Network Operators.
