Parliament recently supported a DUP motion condemning the illegal activities being carried out by criminal gangs in Northern Ireland and calling for the full implementation of the National Crime Agency. We want the people and
communities of Northern Ireland to benefit from the full range of the National Crime Agency’s capabilities, as the rest of the UK does. Of course, it will take the support of all the main parties in Northern Ireland to make the
proposals work. Home Office Ministers have regular meetings with Ministerial colleagues and others. As was the case with previous administrations, it is not the Government's practice to provide details of all such meetings or any
forthcoming visits.
