Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assets he has designated for search and rescue under section 2.5 of Annex 12 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation; and where each such asset is located.

The Department for Transport can call upon a range of assets currently designated for search and rescue under 2.5 of Annex 12 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. These assets are set out in the following table:
