Euston Station and Old Oak Common Station

Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will publish (a) the names of the companies that made successful bids to build (i) Old Oak Common station and (ii) Euston station, (b) the dates on which the contracts for that work are expected to be signed and (c) the scope of the works in those contracts.

a. The names of the companies that made the successful bids are as follows: Euston: a Joint Venture between Mace Limited and Dragados S.A.; Old Oak Common: a Joint Venture between Balfour Beatty Group Ltd, VINCI Construction UK Ltd, VINCI Construction Grands Projets SAS and SYSTRA Ltd.

b. The standstill period is due to conclude at 23:59 on 15th February. HS2 Ltd intends to sign the Construction Partner Contracts shortly thereafter.

  1. The role of the Construction Partner will be to work with HS2 Ltd and the station designers to procure, integrate and manage the supply chain for each of the station construction projects.
