Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer to the hon. Member for Kingston upon Hull North of 20 October 2014 to Question 210663, whether any of the budget for raising awareness of modern slavery has been spent on online or print articles in publications other than The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday.
The Home Office launched a marketing campaign in July 2014 to raise awareness of Modern Slavery in the UK and promote a new Modern Slavery helpline and website. National press partnerships with The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday
Telegraph, the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday formed one part of the campaign, which included sponsored online and print articles in these publications and their respective websites: ‘Mail Online’ and ‘The Telegraph’ website.
