Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the Answer of 7 November 2014 to Question 213434, which individual ethnic groups made up the proportion of black, Asian and minority ethnic offenders in youth custody in each year since May 2010.

The Youth Justice Board works with a range of partners to address the over-representation of Black and Minority Ethnic young people in the criminal justice system.

The table below provides further details of the categories used to record Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic offenders in youth custody.
