Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many (a) men and (b) women were (i) arrested, (ii) charged and (iii) cautioned for sexual activity with a child in each of the last five years.

Data on arrests and resultant charges for sexual activity with a child are not held centrally by the Home Office.

Data on cautions for sexual activity with a child, supplied by the Ministry of Justice, are given in the table.
