Social Security Benefits: Fraud

Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many allegations of benefit fraud his Department received in (a) 2011, (b) 2012 and (c) 2013.

The Department does not hold official statistics which have been quality checked to an acceptable standard as defined by the UK Statistics Authority.
