Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, if she will publish a summary and analysis of the consultation on Local Government Reorganisation in Kent and Medway held between February 2026 and March 2026.

A summary and analysis of consultation responses for areas undergoing local government reorganisation where decisions have been announced is available here. The Government has no plans to publish all of the responses received.

On local government reorganisation more broadly, I refer the Rt Hon Member to the Secretary of State’s oral statement of 7 September.
