The Government launched a call for evidence to inform the development of the Women's Health Strategy, which asked for views on a range of issues including those related to reproductive health and mental health. The Department is analysing the responses and we aim to respond after the summer. The Strategy will be published by the end of the year.

The Department will also be developing a Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy, which we plan to publish later this year. We will consider issues related to reproductive health, including access to contraception services in a range of settings. Departmental officials are ensuring coherence between the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Women’s Health Strategies.
