As set out in the answer to Question 1175 on 2 June 2026, the department’s influencer marketing spend in 2025 to 2026 totalled Ā£589,671. Influencer marketing forms part of the department’s wider marketing approach, reflecting changes in how audiences consume information and helping campaigns reach people who may be harder to engage through traditional channels. This figure includes the costs attributed to influencer activity, such as influencer fees, production and paid media costs. The department cannot separately identify the aggregate influencer and agency fees requested because some engagements were procured and recorded as part of wider campaign delivery packages.
