The Cabinet Office is committed to the responsible management of public money, ensuring that all exit arrangements represent value for the taxpayer. The terms of the Civil Service Compensation Scheme (CSCS) are set out in the 2010 Scheme Rules and apply to all civil servants regardless of grade, including Permanent Secretaries and Cabinet Secretaries.
