Question to the Department for International Development:
To ask the Secretary of State for International Development, what assistance her Department provides to ethnic Chin refugees in India who are victims of sexual violence.

DFID does not provide specific funding for ethnic Chin refugees in India who are victims of sexual violence. Improving the lives of women and girls is, however, a significant aspect of DFID’s programme in India which includes developing an evidence-based strategy to prevent Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).
