Question to the Cabinet Office:
To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether the new Director General - Future Civil Service was appointed by open and fair competition.
This question was answered on 29th September 2026
The Director General of the Future Civil Service was appointed through a level transfer managed move. The post-holder previously went through fair and open competition to attain that grade.
