Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether military planners have been seconded to other Departments to prepare for the UK leaving the EU.
This question was answered on 17th January 2019
To date, a total of 23 military planners have been posted to other Whitehall Departments to assist with contingency planning for leaving the EU. Military planners offer unique skills and operational planning experience and will be involved in a variety of tasks tailored to the needs of the requesting Department.
