To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the Cabinet Office news story, "Machinery of Government changes: Fact Sheet", of 22 July 2026, whether the (a) 10 Downing Street and (b) Cabinet Office still exist as a business unit within the Office for the Prime Minister and Cabinet, or whether the Office for the Prime Minister and Cabinet is a business unit of the Cabinet Office.

Number 10 is part of the Office for the Prime Minister and Cabinet. The Cabinet Office is the legal department of state.
