Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, with reference to the Cabinet Office policy paper, Rewiring the State – Cabinet Statement, of 31 July 2026, how many statutory duties for local authorities to consult has her Department identified as part of its statutory duties review.

This exercise was only carried out for consultation and reporting duties on central government.
