Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to his oral contribution of 7 January 2019, Official Report, column 85, how many unaccompanied children arrived at the Kent coast in (a) the first nine months and (b) the final three months of 2018.

We do not routinely publish this level of data on clandestine entry or attempts to enter the UK and we do not comment on the status of cases once they have claimed asylum.
