Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, further to the FCDO Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26, HC521, of 16 July 2026, page 138, how many of the special severance payments were on matters separate to the wider restructuring of the department.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office's Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26 recorded 29 special severance payments. None of these payments related to the wider restructuring of the department.
