Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what the planned expenditure was on Digital ID in each year from 2025-26 onwards prior to the announcement of the cancellation of the programme.

A full business case had not yet been finalised prior to the cancellation of the national Digital ID programme. As such, a full estimate of planned expenditure for 2025-26 onwards is not available.
