The Department is developing a Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy, which will be published in 2021. We will consider issues related to equitable access contraception and geographical variations in access to contraception services, including access to contraception and contraception services for young people, as part of the Strategy’s development.

In 2021/22, Public Health England will publish an analysis of a survey of trans and non-binary people’s needs and experiences when accessing reproductive and sexual health services, including access to contraception.
