To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether his Department is taking steps to support British nationals in Niger in the context of the escalating political situation.

The FCDO advises against all travel to Niger and our ability to provide consular support is severely limited. British nationals in Niger in need of assistance should contact the FCDO on +234 (1) 277 0782 or online. They should also sign up to get email notifications when travel advice is updated.
