Question to the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what discussions she has had with the Local Government Association and local authorities about the proposed remodelling of English Heritage.

Neither my Rt Hon Friend the Secretary of State nor I have had any such discussions. However, I understand that English Heritage have met the Local Government Association to discuss the proposals, and the Local Government Association and a number of local authorities have responded to the recent consultation.
