The consultation exercise on the proposal to reclassify two medicines containing desogestrel from prescription only medicines to pharmacy medicines has closed. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency is reviewing the large number of responses received and the outcome of consultation will be communicated as soon as possible.
