Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what guidance his Department has issued on the mobile telephone contracts for telephones used by Government employees.

The Cabinet Office has not issued specific guidance on this matter, although the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) issues various procurement guidance to government.

The Cabinet Office does not hold complete data for all telephony spend but departmental data will be available via contracts finder.

CCS contracts are awarded following open competition on the basis of best value for money.
