Question to the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology:
To ask the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, pursuant to the Answer of 30 June 2023 to Question 190871 on Mathematics: Research, whether the £124 million includes money spent as part of the Additional Funding Programme for Mathematic Sciences in the 2020-21 and 2022-23 financial years.

The £124 million committed to the Additional Funding Programme for Mathematic Sciences covers the financial years 2020/21 to 2028/29. This is in addition to UKRI’s core funding for mathematical sciences of around £25-30 million per annum.
