Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the average waiting times for passport applications since August 2022.

People are receiving their passports in good time. Between August 2022 and May 2023, 97.4% of customers using the standard UK service received their passport within the published processing timeframe of ten weeks.
Between January and May 2023, 99.4% of customers using the standard UK service received their passport within the published processing timeframe of ten weeks.
