Small and medium-sized housebuilders (SME) are an indispensable part of our housebuilding sector and the Government wants to ensure more homes are built by SMEs developers.

Through our £1.5 billion Levelling Up Home Building Fund (LUHBF) we are providing financial support to SMEs to help build c42,000 homes. We are also providing the sector with support through the £1 billion ENABLE Build Guarantee scheme and changes to the planning system through the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill will support SMEs to build by making the planning process easier to navigate, faster and more predictable.
