Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions he has had with the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on the inclusion of her Department's work on end-of-life considerations for recreational vessels in the Clean Maritime Plan Refresh.

The Department intends to publish an updated version of the Clean Maritime Plan in late 2023. This update will set out the next steps for decarbonising the UK’s maritime sector.

Department officials are engaging across government, including the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, on all our developing interventions to drive the sector to net zero, to ensure relevant policies are consulted on.
